 Dr. Novak chose to specialize in family medicine because caring for multiple generations allows her to build lasting relationships. Growing up on a cattle ranch in the Sandhills of Nebraska, she was one of ten children in her family. As a child, she nurtured her farm animals when they were sick or suffering and as she grew older, she carried that same compassion over to her career choice. She knew that being a family physician would give her the opportunity to make a difference in the health and well-being of her patients. Dr. Novak serves on Memorial Hospital's Obstetrics Committee, and she is the Coroner's physician for Seward County. She loves running, golfing and snow skiing, and enjoys watching Husker women's volleyball.
